I got volumes 6 and 7 of the Yona of the Dawn manga. It’s been way too long since I got to continue this series! I also picked up Legendborn. I heard it being compared to Shadowhunters, but with a King Arthur-esque twist? So, that’s all I need to know.

What is Legendborn about?

I don’t know too much, but I believe it’s about a girl who’s mother died in an accident, and now she has to go to some sort of school. Except on her very first night, she witnesses a magical attack and meets this group called Legendborns, who are apparently descended from King Arthur!

It’s about a young princess named Yona who is trying to retake her kingdom back from someone who stole it from her! I don’t want to go into too much detail because it spoils the first manga volume, but here’s a link to my review of the first volume if you’re interested:

I’ve been hearing so much about Legendborn recently, but this is the first time I’ve seen it compared to Shadowhunters. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it! I’m hoping to pick up A Vow So Bold and Deadly next.
