Tag Tuesday! | Slytherin Day!

Hi friends! It’s time for another Hogwarts House themed Top 5 Tuesday, hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm! I feel like Slytherins get a lot of hate, but honestly? They’re awesome.

They are ambitious, driven, goal focused, determined, prepared, perfectionists, adaptable, realistic, self reliant, charming, assertive, and ruthless. They are highly selective with their loyalty, love positive attention and thrive on praise, care about the impression they give, demand respect, and can be disloyal.

Kicking it all off, we have the perpetually amazing JULIAN BLACKTHORN! He’ll do anything to protect his family, and he doesn’t give a snackity-snack about what happens to him in the process. I mean, the boy raised a ton of siblings. And ran an Institute. And kept like 5 billion secrets. At 12 years old. CAN HE JUST RETIRE PEACEFULLY IN THE BAHAMAS IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK.

James is a Slytherin*. And he’s an amazing character and is complex beyond reason. Seriously, I wish I had his ambition.

*I think? Maybe he’s a Ravenclaw IDK

I’d love to know the opinion of y’all, because I think Sadie is a Slytherin??? She’ll do anything to protect her sister and again: she doesn’t care about herself. And I think she’s an actual chameleon because that girl can adapt to any situation. I’d honestly just hide in the corner forever.

Katherine’s a Slytherin! And I freaking hate her for many reasons. But I will admit that she won’t let anything get in her way which is admirable.

Character I won’t say because spoilers is a total Slytherin. A very, very cunning one. Literally, they’d probably fit the above paragraph of Slytherin traits better than Salazar Slytherin himself!

Tell me your picks for this topic!!

  1. Katherine is such a complex character; definitely an embodiment of Slytherin house. I think I’d put Jules, Mirabella, and Arsinoe all in Gryffindor. Maybe Arsinoe in Hufflepuff.
