5 Popular Authors I Need To Read

Hi friends! Today, I wanted to highlight my failures- namely, all the authors I still need to read. So let the shaming begin!   1. Victoria Schwab Yeah…I’ve never read a V.E Schwab book. I don’t know why, her books sound amazing! Yet, there’s just so many…y’all need to pressure me to read This Savage Song right now.   2. Tamora Pierce I’ve heard so many fantastic things about her, like that she’s the queen of YA fantasy! Her books all take place in the same universe but again, there’s so many of them. Why do I have to commit to so much?!   … Continue reading 5 Popular Authors I Need To Read

Harry Potter Anniversary Week Day Four: A Harry Potter Related Story

Hi friends! I’m back with another HP anniversary post but first I wanted to say that I will be gone this week. I’ll have posts going up but if don’t respond to your comments right away, that’s why (I promise I’m not ignoring you!) I can’t wait to see y’all again! Which Ending Are You?

Just imagine it: the main character becomes queen of the realm, is married to the one true love of her life, and has finally conquered the formerly uncontrollable powers plaguing her. Some of you are probably sighing and clutching your heart dramatically. For those of you who are cringing and wrinkling your nose in disgust, let me offer you an alternative: The main character does not accomplish her goals, the love of her life dies in her arms, and she gives in to the rage becoming a monster unlike anyone has ever seen before. Some of us LOVE happy endings, … Continue reading Which Ending Are You?

Thoughts While Reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Thoughts While Reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone I’ve decided to start a series of posts where I just catalog my thoughts as I read the book, so let me take the time right now to post a big, fat spoiler warning: SPOILERS BEYOND PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK Well, now that we’ve got that settled, let’s begin! Note: This is a reread for me, but I won’t be spoiling future installments. “Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.” How can one sentence contain … Continue reading Thoughts While Reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
