november + december books i am so excited to read!!!!

I’ve already completely blundered my way past reading so many of the books I’ve been anticipating and talking about all year, so what’s one more post to try and convince myself that I’m going to read this in a timely manner?

november/december releases by authors I’ve already read!

Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn | I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!! The reviews for the sequel to 2020’s hit debut novel featuring a Black female protagonist, Legendborn, have been almost terrifyingly good. I’m so excited to dive back into this world! Before you ask, I am actually rereading the first book because I can’t remember a lot. And by a lot I mean somehow I forgot more than I remember forgetting💀 This Shadowhunters meets King Arthur sequel just came out!

Cursed by Marissa Meyer | This also just came out! I finished Gilded last month, and that cliffhanger?! Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long for this one! But then I ordered the Fairyloot edition…which doesn’t ship until March…so maybe I did lose out on this one. This is a Rumpelstiltskin retelling!

Saint by Adrienne Young | SAAAAINT*. This is a prequel following Fable’s father from the Fable duology, and I’m incredibly excited to jump back into this pirate-y world and watch Saint and Isolde’s romance unfold. This one comes out November 29th!

*that was a lot of energy for a book I’m not even sure I’m going to like

Five Survive by Holly Jackson | Lowkey I’m so interested to see how Holly Jackson writes a straight up thriller. Like, I know we have As Good As Dead, but it’s not the same. All I know is that this follows a group of friends whose car breaks down in the middle of a blizzard and a sniper is out to get them. This comes out December 8th!

diverse releases to put on your radar: a rival Brazilian bakery romance and a Christmas anthology featuring all Black authors! both are currently out now!

So that’s it! Tell me: what book are YOU most excited to read in November?

  1. Ugh, I love that Saint cover so much (same with the Fable covers too though)! I hope that it’s great and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it if you pick it up. 😃 I’m also really looking forward to reading Whiteout cos I read Blackout earlier this year and it was fantastic!
