WWW Wednesday! // a witchy love story, a domestic thriller, and an (allegedly) depressing sequel

I’m supposed to be doing school right now (shh, don’t tell my professors) but I’d much rather be writing about books so here we are! Also, I just discovered the Copy Post feature of WordPress and I’m so angry I didn’t discover it sooner?! I can’t believe I’ve been writing these types of posts from scratch for FOUR YEARS. How did I not find the lazier/easier option sooner? WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

what are you currently reading?

THE DIVERSITY IN THIS LINEUP OF AUTHORS??? HELLO??? This basically follows three friends who make a love potion and attempt a magic spell on the night of a masquerade ball. I’ve heard that this is just really fun and it sounds right up my alley. So far, I’m enjoying it!

what did you recently read?

I have been complaining about how much I don’t vibe with audiobooks all year and then I randomly listened to this in two days. If that doesn’t represent me as a person, I don’t know what does. Anyways, Rock Paper Scissors was surprisingly good? What I liked about it was that The Major Twist was guessable but in a subtle way. I hate it when thrillers are either predictable for no reason, or shove a twist in there with no foreshadowing whatsoever. Luckily, Rock Paper Scissors didn’t have those problems!

what will you read next?

I JUST ORDERED THIS FINALLY AHHH. I actually ordered Foul Lady Fortune, and then remembered that I haven’t technically finished this duology yet??? I’ve been meaning to buddy read this with Andge @ Down The Rabbit Hole for the LONGEST time. Bring on the pain and tears!
