Welcome to my new manga obsession! From now on, I’ll be taking every excuse to slip this manga into posts. Sorry*. Anyways, the wedding doesn’t feature heavily in this book but it kickstarts the entirety of the manga so it’s definitely important in a sense. This story basically follows a girl who’s wed to her enemy and then realizes she has arcana powers (she can see the future and the past to an extent).
*i don’t mean it but hey, at least i tried right?
Another book I’m obsessed with recently. This book’s synopsis starts with “Three weddings. Three funerals.” Again, it’s not really a romantic wedding that’s the focus, but the weddings provide the setup for this incredible book. This is an Italian-inspired(!) story following a girl who has to marry a Fonte (a person with powers) because she is a Finestra (able to amplify the powers of a Fonte) and needs to find a Fonte to kill the maelstrom of demons that come every few years.
The final short story in this novel has the sweetest, most adorable wedding ever. I truly cannot explain just how much I smiled reading (and rereading, and rereading again).
This story starts with a wedding, and a wedding’s in the middle, and there isn’t a wedding at the end but I think I win with TWO weddings being featured in this book. Once Upon A Broken Heart is the only book I reread last year, and I have been waiting very impatiently for the sequel for far too long.
I think that there’s a wedding in this book but don’t quote me on it. I’m going to shut myself up before I spoil anything haha.

I am SO excited about This Vicious Grace it sounds amazing and certainly sounds more like the type of weddings I want to read! 🤣 But doing a 180 in tone, I am planning on reading Dial A for Aunties soon and I am very excited for the chaotic wedding!!

I don’t think I’ve ever done a list for books about a wedding but what a fun topic! I totally forgot there was a wedding in The Wicked King 😂 And I had no idea OUABH starts with one! I’m excited to read that book.
