March’s Top 5 Tuesday topics are going to get me back into fantasy, calling it now. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads!
I know that there’s a throne in the first book, but I think that there’s one in this one as well (which really makes me question why I didn’t just use The Cruel Prince as the image but whatever). The throne in this book is mostly unmemorable but the royalty who sit upon the throne are unforgettable.
*Cue my daily, obligatory whining for The Ballad of Never After to be released*. I distinctly remember one scene in this book where Jacks is lounging upon an icy throne eating an apple (and possibly talking to a fox but I wouldn’t trust me if I were you). To be honest, I kinda wish that throne would have been in more scenes.
The title says Throne of Glass so like…there’s gotta be a throne in this book somewhere right? I don’t remember much about this book but I’m pretty sure Celaena was in a throneroom at some point and what’s a throneroom without a throne?
I was going to pick this series as a whole but then I remembered that the third book does have throne in the name so I’m repeating my brilliant logic from above and assuming that this book contains a throne. Also, it’s one of my most favorite underrated YA series ever so you’d better believe I’m giving it a shoutout!
I’m pretty sure this has a throne in it because you know, Queen of Hearts? Kinda seems like it’d come with the territory. All of this throne talk lowkey makes me wish I had one made of flowers and stars.
So that’s it! Tell me: what’s a book YOU enjoy with a throne in it? If you had a throne, what would you want it to look like?
