Most Anticipated March Releases!

I still haven’t gotten to the library yet this year, which means my “anticipated releases tbr” vs. “anticipated releases read” ratio is practically non-existent. But that’s okay! I mean, my NetGalley ratio could be worse so that’s something…? Anyways, let’s talk about March since we’re somehow in March already.

I also wanted to mention that Ukraine has all my prayers because wow, are they doing the thing. President Zelenskyy is amazing.

march releases i’ve already read (ooh boy, here we go)

The Lost Dreamer by Lizz Huerta | This is already out, so go ahead and buy it right away! In a pitch: two girls, who are Dreamers, have to survive a patriarchal world inspired by Meso-American culture. Cool, right? While this isn’t the most exciting book out there, please believe that it has some of the best worldbuilding and richest writing in YA. Need more convincing? Feel free to check out my review.

All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir | Oh my goodness. Y’all are lucky (or maybe unlucky?) that this is out already because now I can yell at you to read it in every post and you will have ZERO excuses (I’m definitely not a hypocrite). This is a story of two teenagers, in one small town, struggling through life together. I know that sounds so basic but please just trust me on this one. When I say that this is Sabaa’s best novel I mean it. And that’s coming from a big Ember fan. If you want more fangirling, here’s my review.

A Far Wilder Magic by Allison Saft | I don’t know what’s up with these March authors but holy crap. This is another 5 star read that can only be compared to The Raven Boys in terms of atmosphere and character depth. I mean, we have an awesome girl teaming up with a boy who wants to be an alchemist to hunt a magical fox! There are few YA fantasy books that don’t prioritize plot over characters, but this one manages to balance them both perfectly. I reviewed this one a while back, and it comes out on March 8!

Love Decoded by Jennifer Yen | This was a wild contemporary that was kind of feel-good? We follow a girl who comes up with an app for matching people together to find the perfect friend and well, chaos ensues. Overall, I had a fun time with this one even if I did feel poor while reading it (rich kids man). This one also comes out March 8, and hopefully, I’ll have my review up soon!

Remember Me Gone by Stacy Stokes | I haven’t talked about this one much but here’s the basic synopis: a girl’s dad makes people forget things that they want to forget and her only goal is to learn that skill from him…until she realizes that some sort of conspiracy is going on in her Southern town and her dad may be involved. I’m trying to be as vague as possible to preserve the mysteriousness of it! This comes out on March 22.

The Resting Place by Camilla Sten | I actually really enjoyed this thriller. I read it in the dead of snowy winter and the perfect atmosphere kind of scared me. Basically, we follow the perspective of a woman named Eleanor who’s suffering from prosopagnosia (face blindness) who runs into her grandmother’s killer. But obviously, she can’t recognize who it is and so she’s (quite understandably) terrified. When she goes to visit her grandmother’s estate with her boyfriend and aunt, she realizes that there’s more to the house of secrets than there first seems. I did enjoy this one more than I thought I would! This comes out March 29.

other releases i’m very!!! excited for!!!

One For All by Lillie Lainoff | The fact that a Three Musketeers retelling featuring a disabled female protagonist is releasing in Women’s History Month is *chef’s kiss*. I’ve seen really good reviews for this one, and I’m hoping it will be an underrated favorite! This comes out March 8.

A Magic Steeped In Poison by Judy I. Lin | Magical tea-making competition! I feel as if saying more will make me sound eloquent and not like a 5 year old who wants something right this second. But yes, a magical tea-making competition featuring a girl who is dealing with teh aftermath of knowing that she accidentally killed her own mother. This comes out March 29!

other diverse releases!

So that’s it! Tell me what your most anticipated March releases are!

  3. Omg you’ve read so many March releases already!! 😳 I so want to read them all too. Glad to hear The Resting Place was good. And I can’t believe the praise for All My Rage…kind of scared to pick it up. 😅
I have to admit I’m jealous if A Magic Steeped In Poison is still out for you. I preorderedd it but the hardback was cancelled in the UK so now I have to wait until September…and then its Paperback instead too 😭

      1. I think its a March thing…about two years ago I remember it happening too. Hype can be intimidating 😅 but hopefully 🤞 will be nice to read a contemporary for a change too.
Thinking about it that’s probably not the worst thing, the worst is the cover change for the UK edition of The Last Finestra 😭😭😭 but thank you. At least I can call it a birthday treat now.
