…I did this topic last year, and at least I read one of the 5 books? That’s a whole 20%, technically. This year, I’m aiming to read at least 3 of these 5 books since apparently me and my wayward moods can’t be trusted with anything. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads!
Note: I know that it’s a Wednesday but I forgot to publish this yesterday due to sickness. But here it is now!
If you want to feel better about yourself, know that this book has been at the very top of all my “Books I’m Getting To This Year FOR SURE Or Else You All Have Permission To Drag Me To Hades” lists for the past two years. So what’s one more list, one more year, one more attempt at reading this book? I have high(ish) hopes for 2022 since this series finishes this year.
I really want to try to get this particular series finale read this year because if I don’t read it this year? Well, it probably won’t ever happen. My memory is weak. Anyways, I do love The Gilded Wolves trilogy but I can’t find this book at the libraries and I’m broken-hearted. I might have to suck it up and force myself through audiobooks again. Anyways, let me know what you think of this one and how it ends!
WHY IS THIS COMING OUT IN NOVEMBER. My obsession with Selwyn Kane simply cannot wait this long. That’s a trillion months away. But you’d better believe that the moment it comes out…or at least, in the month within it comes out, I’ll be there, ready to read.
I had been waiting to read Marissa Meyer’s new novel until my Fairyloot edition came in and now I don’t know what I’m waiting for. I’ve heard that this is darker than her other fairytale retellings, so I’m both intrigued and scared. Although, I am rewatching Once Upon A Time and Rumpelstiltskin is quite the character.
I’m actually already 30% through this book, but I put it down because I wasn’t feeling it at the time. I’m excited to get back to this mystery, especially because the Ojibwe culture is at the heart of the story.
So that’s it! What are your thoughts on these books? What’s a book you’re going to read this year?
