Hi friends! I don’t do a quote every week, but on the rare occasion I actually remember the lines of prose that mesmerize, astound, and impress me. Also, I have to reread them multiple times to qualify. This particular quote has been on my mind for two days, so I think it deserves a shoutout. It’s just so lyrical.

“And then she was gone, leaving the scent of oud and roses on his clothes, silver starlight everywhere he looked, and the ghost of words that never were.”
– Hafsah Faizal, We Free The Stars
So that’s it! Tell me: what do you think about this quote? Have you read this series?
