Tag Tuesday: Top 5 Most Anticipated Releases For The Rest Of 2021!

Why are people so utterly fantastic at writing books. I read like a distracted snail so the amount of incredible books coming out for the rest of the year is terrifying. But let’s just focus on how good they all sound and not on how the 5000 foot tall mountain of paper and ink staring me in the face! Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads.

A YA dark-academia thriller that’s a murder-mystery. The best part? It’s Asian-American. I’m so excited for another solid addition to one of my favorite niche genres!

Okay guys. Read the first sentence of this synpopis and tell me you don’t instantly add it to your TBR: “Half British Reaper, half Japanese Shinigami, Ren Scarborough has been collecting souls in the London streets for centuries.” And Ren needs to kill three Yokai demons for the goddess of death, which is an impossible task. AND I AM SO READY FOR THIS.

I’ve talked about this rather recently, but sounds like it’ll be an incredible story influenced by Korean mythology. All I know is that this follows a girl who goes to the Spirit Realm to stop the sea god from waking and yes, that premise does indeed make it onto my top 5 most anticipated reads of the year.

THE QUEEN OF RETELLINGS IS RELEASING A RUMPELSTILTSKIN STORY. I don’t know the details, and I don’t want to. All I need to know is Marissa Meyer wrote it.

I’m so scared to see how one of my favorite series will end but gosh, I miss my gang. Also, that tagline? Let’s just take it in. And how beautiful each and every cover is.

It’s too hard to pick just five books but I’m anticipating this just as much as the others! Chinese mythology + Avatar The Last Airbender mashup? Perfection.
