Hi friends! There’s only 3 more days of February left which is insane. I can’t believe it’s time to make another one of these posts but apparently it is. So let’s talk about March releases!
Down Comes The Night by Allison Saft | My Review | This is what I like to describe as a gothic enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance. I absolutely adored it when I read last year, and I highly recommend people who enjoy YA fantasy.
Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare | I may not have read Chain of Gold yet, but Chain of Iron is literally my most anticipated release of the year. I am so trash Forky would be jealous.
Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley | This follows a biracial girl who doesn’t quite fit in either her hometown or the Ojibwe reservation. However, when she witnesses a murder, she undertakes an investigation to unearth the truth. THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS.
Yolk by Mary H.K. Choi | I still haven’t read a Mary H.K. Choi book and I’m so angry at myself??? But this one sounds so, so good since it’s about two estranged sisters who are forced to live together when the rich one gets cancer. It sounds like it’ll be heavy but so, so good.
Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price | This is a Pride and Prejudice retelling(!) following Lizzie, who’s a lawyer, and she’s intent on defending a certain client better than the rather sexist Mr. Darcy. But they might have to work together to solve the case because there’s a killer on the loose! This concept is pure gold.
Tell Me My Name by Amy Reed | My review for this will be up soon but I was shocked by this one! It’s a YA gender-flipped retelling of Great Gatsby following a girl named Fern who becomes desperate for new girl Ivy’s approval.
There are so, so many new releases in March that I wouldn’t mind reading but I only wanted to highlight the big ones!
