Hi friends! September was…another wild month. Like, 2020. Please chill. Find some good vibes, mate. Anyways, I kind of failed on the reading aspect but at least I did school! That’s something!
books
Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare | This play is absolutely hilarious. Also confusing and insta-lovey but ya know. This is full of dramatics and deception and matchmaking and I couldn’t stop giggling. 4/5 stars!
A Reaper At The Gates by Sabaa Tahir | My last reread before A Sky Beyond The Storm comes out! I don’t know why I didn’t adore this book the first time??? It’s such a culmination of foreshadowing, and painful character development. It sets up for a banger of a finale, because you truly have no idea what will happen. 5/5 stars!
Nocturna by Maya Montane | I read this because it was the Dragon and Tea Book Club pick of the month for September (and my library actually came through for once in time!) and I enjoyed it! This is OwnVoices for the Latinx rep! I really loved the magic system, and the banter between the characters. I was just a bit disappointed by the predictability of the plot, so 3.75/5 stars!
music
Um to summarize: A lot of Glee cast, Wicked, Kpop, Ariana Grande, and Dynamite. I am original.
tv/movies
I’ll talk about the TV shows in more detail next month because I just started Community (which is really good) and I’m almost done with the K-drama Boys Over Flowers (which is BEYOND AMAZING). I also rewatched Grease twice this month and Legally Blonde so yay!
That’s it! Tell me the highlights of your month!

Community is so funny! It is a shame that the last season doesn’t do the show justice, but for the first three or so, it is comedy perfection. Hope you enjoy 🙂

Gotta love a good Legally Blonde showing!! (: I’d love to read more Shakespeare, but ugh I’m so intimidated. Maybe I’ll just pick up one of his plays and dive in! Hope you have the best October! ♥

I saw Much Ado About Nothing a few years ago at my university, it was so much fun! I haven’t read a Shakespeare outside of school, but I want to eventually. Always love a Legally Blonde reference, too! 🙂
