would you rather book tag! // so many choices…

Hi friends! I’m back with another book tag, and I was tagged by the wonderful Joss @ One Who Read It!

Would you rather only read ebooks or audiobooks?

Umm…audiobooks I think? I struggle sometimes reading them, but audiobooks such as A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder and The Gilded Wolves are both so good I binge-listened. So audiobooks are my answer!

Would you rather kiss the villain of your favorite book/series or hurt your favorite character?

The entire Shadowhunter world is my favorite series* so I just chose the villain from the last half of the Mortal Instruments. I could never hurt my favorite character, so I might as well just kiss Spoilery Villain and slap him as hard as I can afterwards. As well as land a well-aimed kick.

*uh…does this count??? idk

Would you rather read all the books you want every single month but barely remember the plot or read 2 books a month but remember everything about them?

Um…I think read all the books I want every month! I mean, I barely remember all the books I read anyways. It’ll be more fun to reread anyways!

Would you rather read a book you love while listening to an album you hate or read a book you hate while listening to an album you love?

BOOK I HATE WHILE LISTENING TO AN ALBUM I LOVE. I mean, that’s definitely counter-productive, but if I was listening to, say, Miley Cyrus, I would quite posssibly never read that book again for the memories associated with it.

Would you rather be able to go to your favorite fantasy world but no one can see you or go to a fantasy world you hate but everyone can see you?

THESE QUESTIONS ARE SO GOOD IDK. But knowing me, I’d go mad with loneliness even in my favorite fantasy world, so I’d rather be in a world I hate where everyone can see me.

Would you rather only read historical fiction novels or sci-fi?

LOL funnily enough I’m not a big fan of either genre…? But I HAVE to pick sci-fi. The future of me rereading The Lunar Chronicles depends on it.

Would you rather only read the books but never watch the movie/TV show adaptations or only watch the adaptations but never read the books?

Only read the books! I believe in my imagination! Occasionally it does actually come through!

Would you rather only read backlist titles or new releases?

Backlist titles! Because, I mean, every new release becomes a backlist title at some point right???

Would you rather only read standalones or series?

Series! I can’t enjoy a good slowburn, or be shook by layers upon layers of plot twists if it’s a standalone!

Would you rather always being able to guess the twist, or never being able to guess the twist?

Never be able to guess the twist! I actually hate being able to guess the twist. It takes away a lot of the shock factor!

So that’s it! I tag anyone who wants to do this, and Joss’s questions are fantastic so please do those!

  1. YES! I am so happy you did this and that you liked my questions! I was honestly struggling so much to come up with 10 new questions (hence why the last question is from Rach @ Anxious Nachos) so I am glad you enjoyed them and I loved reading your answers! Haha the “kiss a character you hate or hurt your favorite character” was honestly such a random question but I loved your answer 😂. And I mean… you’re not wrong. A new release eventually becomes a backlist title so… might as well choose to only read backlist titles.

  2. this was so fun to read ! loved all your answers 🙂 And all those questions were so tough ecspecially Would you rather be able to go to your favorite fantasy world but no one can see you or go to a fantasy world you hate but everyone can see you? I would never be able to naswer that ! somewhere I am not a huge fan of audiobooks mostly becuase the narrator’s pace sometimes is too fast or slow and I and up getting bored . And the fact as an international blogger majority of the books I get are Earcs
