Best of Their Age
Best Teenage Book Blogger!
Aria @ Book Nook Bits is one of my favorite bloggers! Her aesthetics are always on point. Also, no matter what she posts, I always look forwarding to reading what she has to say! One of her most recent posts about Blog Scheduling was fascinating to read, because it’s not something I’ve given much thought to before! Aria is honestly just one of the sweetest people to talk to ever and y’all should go follow her blog right now tbh.
Best Adult Book Blogger!
Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books is absolutely amazing. I only recently started reading her posts, but the effort put into each and every one of them is jaw-dropping. You can totally tell that she puts a ton of effort into each post! I particularly loved one she did on Trigger Warnings and why they matter, because that’s such an important topic in any community, an it was lovely seeing it brought up in the book world.
Best Genre Bloggers!
Best YA Book Blogger!
Kay @ Hammock of Books has always been one of my favorite bloggers, from the time I started blogging! She reviews so many YA books (AKA MY FAVORITE GENRE) and she’s honest about her thoughts! I can always trust her opinions and recommendations. I really adored her review of a book called Under the Painted Sky in particular. This is an example of a YA book I’ve never heard of but now want to read thanks to Kay’s fantastic review!
Best Middle-Grade Book Blogger!
Mandy and Sha @ Book Princess Reviews review YA as well, but they also do a lot of middle-grade! I can’t tell you how many middle-grade books I’ve added to my TBR just from reading their reviews and recommendations! Their review of Charlie Hernandez and The League of Shadows is one example of how convincing they are. I can always count on finding new middle-grades to add to my TBR when I visit their blog! Also, both of them are two of the sweetest, most creative people ever so go follow them!
Best Adult Book Blogger!
Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books always has such incredible adult book recs! I mean, obviously I read a lot of YA, but I really want to expand more into the adult genre, and Kristin’s blog has inspired me to pick up some that I otherwise wouldn’t have! I really enjoyed her post about her favorite quotes from her recent reads, I obviously had to add 5 more books to my TBR after that!
Best Romance Book Blogger!
Kayla @ Books and Blends reads a ton of romance, and has incredible reviews for them! I don’t read romance generally, but I do enjoy reading Kayla’s reviews and exchanging comments! Her review of Country Hearts is one the ones I’ve most recently loved reading, it’s very honest and transparent, while still being respectful.
Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Blogger!
Lisa @ Way Too Fantasy reads a ton of fantasy! I love hearing about her most recent reads and her most anticipated releases. There are always so many books that I run to Goodreads to add to my TBR after reading one of her posts! For example, her Book Predictions Tag is a fantastic example of how incredible her blog posts are!
Best of Book Blogging!
Best Book Reviews!
Rendz @ Reading With Rendz honestly has some of the best reviews I’ve EVER read! I love how she firstly highlights key points in bold, and secondly separating her likes and dislikes! Also, her reviews are just crazily well-written and eloquent and entertaining. That’s a triple threat right there, friends. She’s also so much fun to talk to and exchange comments with! I adored her review of Unravel the Dusk especially.
Best Book Recommendations!
May @ Forever and Everly has some of the best recommendations out there! She’s constantly creating lists promoting diverse books/authors in particular. I really, really loved reading her 25 Books by Asian Authors post!! She recommended books that covers basically all genres, and specified which nationality/ethnicity each book was (Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Korean, etc.) and um I have many more books on my TBR now.
Best Blog Aesthetic!
Octavia @ Mermaid Reads has SUCH a gorgeous blog aesthetic! I mean, maybe I just love the beach a lot, but the color scheme? The headings? They’re all so beautifully done. I love the details of starfish and shells in some of her images! 10/10 would recommend checking her blog out!
Best Blogging/Writing Voice
Sophie @ Me and Ink is on hiatus right now, but that just gives you time to catch up on all her posts! She is one of my most favorite bloggers to chat with, she’s super sweet and her personality always shines through in her posts. Like, I genuinely could read a post and tell you it’s Sophie’s without even knowing who wrote it. Her May Update is just a small example of how incredible Sophie and her blog are!
Most Engaged in the Community!
Evelyn @ Evelyn Reads is one of the bloggers I see everywhere!! I’ll go to comment on a blog post and there she is! Her presence in the community is so inspirational and she’s such a light.
Charlotte @ Bewitching Books, Ravenous Reads is one of the sweetest people I’ve had the blessing of meeting! I love having conversation with her because she always has such amazing thoughts and is super engaging! And her personality really shines through in her blog! Her Most Anticipated Reads for The Rest of 2020 post is absolutely fantastic, and I’d highly recommend checking it out.
Best At Promoting Diverse Books!
Melanie @ meltotheany has been one of my favorite bloggers ever since I started blogging! Her focus on supporting minority authors and promoting books featuring diversity is amazing. I really want to read more books coming from minority authors and Melanie always has the best recs! She’s also just a really sweet and supportive human, so go follow!
Best New Blogger
Erin @ Rin’s Reads is definitely one of my new favorite bloggers to interact with! I actually meant to put this category in, but totally forgot by the time I actually wrote the post. This is why you should EDIT, friends. Anyways, her site is crisp and gorgeous, and I LOVE reading all of her content!! She’s super sweet and kind and clever. I especially adored her review of A Song of Wraiths and Ruin. It was concise and eloquent and so convincing!! Go support her!
Best Overall Book Blogger
Xandra @ Starry Sky Books is incredible. She writes a fantastic variety of posts! I love reading everything she writes, whether it be a well-written book review, a fascinating discussion post, or a super helpful tips and tricks piece. Her post about editing on Instagram is BEYOND helpful. I honestly adore reading anything and everything she writes!
