A Three-Month Late Book Haul! // yeah…you read the title right

Hi friends! I’m here for a really late book haul…but it doesn’t matter because I don’t have that many to share lol! I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of these!

gifts

Graceling by Kristin Cashore | I know I’ve said before that I don’t like this book, buuuut the gorgeous paperback edition has made me want to give it another chance. I also read this for the first time when I was thirteen? I’ve matured since then*.

*lol believe it or not i was once less mature than i am now. shocking i know.

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern | I’M SLOWLY READING AND SAVORING THIS AND IT’S SO FREAKING GOOD. There’s something so deliciously magical about the story, the writing. I’m very thankful.

Supernova by Marissa Meyer | THE CONCLUSION TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHOR’S TRILOGIES. This was everything I could ever have wanted and more. It also looks nice next to its siblings.

received from publisher

The Other Side of The Wall by Amy Ephron | I received this for a blog tour I did with Penguin! This was a really cool, slightly creepy middle-grade novel with a dash of Christmas spirit.

Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw | An atmospheric winter read, that surprised me in quite a few ways. Shea Ernshaw has truly beautiful writing. Super grateful to Simon and Schuster for this!

scribd

Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly | I just finished listening to this one, and I really enjoyed it! One of the most unique fairy-tale retellings I’ve ever read. Also, this cover is top-tier.

Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater | I chose this one to listen to after finishing Stepsister! To be honest, I scream every time Gansey is mentioned but that’s not at all the point. So far, I’m actually quite liking it!

So that’s it!! Not a ton but I’m extra thankful for every one of these! Tell me: what books have you gotten recently???

  1. The last time I bought a book was in November! Although every time I go into a bookstore I keep reaching for Call Down the Hawk, so it’s very possible that will be the next book I purchase. I haven’t read it yet, but I really want to sometime soon! I’ve also heard that The Starless Sea is fantastic, so I’ll probably read that one soon as well!

  2. Ooh I loved Stepsister 😍 have you heard that the author has another one out this year called Poisoned? The cover art is similar so I think you’ll like it too. Winterwood is definitely on my TBR and I hope that you enjoy Graceling more when you reread it. I really enjoyed that series.
