Hi friends! I’m here to share my review of an extremely famous classic. I literally don’t have much to say, because this was just so freaking enjoyable!

First of all, Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite childhood movies. I mean, I was hopping along to the Tea Party, singing along to Painting The Roses Red, and wondering why the Queen was so tall. And the King so short.
anyways.
This was an actual trip down memory lane. I was surprised to find that the original, animated movie was very similar to the book. It was missing a few details, namely, The Mock Turtle and The Duchess, but overall it was spot-on!

I’ve always adored the characters in Wonderland. The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, and of course, The Cheshire Cat.

Lewis Carroll had some problems, I’ll admit. He was not the purest or most wholesome of men. But he did create this story, of a girl in a nonsensical place. I love nonsense. I love creativity. I love wordplay. Lewis Carroll used all of these elements in a manner so subtle, that both children and adults could easily enjoy it!
Personally, I really loved this one! So many amazing scenes. Tell me: have you read this? Have you seen either of the movies???

I’m so glad you loved this book but unfortunately I didn’t love it when I read it. I never did anything with Alice when I was younger so I didn’t have the nostalgia.
I do love the idea of it though (so fun and creative) and it has some great quotes!! ❤

AIW is such a wonderful book! I read it as a child and couldn’t understand much, but now that I am older I can see how subtly Lewis Carroll reproduced the pattern of dreams, and everything about it is hilarious! That’s a very wholesome review.

I’ve always loved Alice in Wonderland! I remember my grandmother buying me a pop-out copy of Alyss Through the Looking Glass because she knew I liked it so much, and I adored that book. Unfortunately I’ve lost the playing cards.
I’m glad that you also love it ❤

I saw a gorgeous edition of this a couple of weeks ago 😍 I was so tempted to buy it but I had no idea whether I’d like it or not. I’ve heard kind of mixed things about it. I do love Alice In Wonderland themed things though and retellings so I do hope to read the books sometime
