Most Anticipated December Releases! // well…at least there’s more than one

Hi friends! This is The Month. The Christmas month, the last month of 2019, the only month of the year where we’re not totally drowning in new book releases. So I’m going to be talking about a couple of releases I’m pretty hyped about!

also this was on my drafts and i meant to post it earlier so…enjoy despite the lateness!

December 1st

Starsight by Brandon Sanderson // Yeah yeah yeah, I haven’t read Skyward yet. BUT I do enjoy Sanderson’s writing and stories! I don’t read a ton of sci-fi (The Lunar Chronicles is the farthest I go) but maybe this series will help change that.

Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi // Again, I haven’t read Children of Blood and Bone. I have, however, heard fantastic things about it. And while I don’t always agree with some of the things this author has said and done, I am glad that it’s ownvoices and features POC.

The Weight of a Soul by Elizabeth Tammi // This cover is everything. Simple, but so pretty with slight foreboding elements. Anyways, I believe that this is about a girl who loses her sister, and in order to find out who killed her she makes a deal with a Norse goddess. I KNOW.

And that’s it! Not very many, but there aren’t a ton of new releases this month! And it’s better than last year lol. Tell me: what books are YOU most anticipating for the month of December???

  1. I haven’t read Children of Blood and Bone either but I’m very excited to get to it and the sequel!! The covers are beautiful 😍
I was surprised with how few releases there were in December to be honest. It wasn’t a busy month at all!!
I hope you get to them all!! 💛

  2. My most anticipated book was Blood Countess but then it got moved back to January so it’d Dangerous Alliance (: The Weight Of A Soul is definitely one I’m interested in though, as are the other two but like you I still need to read the first books. Hopefully we’ll both get then read – and love them – this year.
