October Book Haul! // super short but that’s okay!!

Hi friends! I was debating whether or not to post this because I barely got any books. But if I don’t do it this month, I’ll totally forget which books I got and with the holiday season coming up, I want to make sure I shout these out!

received from publisher

In The Hall With The Knife | I’m super grateful to Amulet Books for this one! This is the first book in a CLUE trilogy, and I really liked it! The mystery and characters were almost as entertaining as me (haha…i’m not funny).

The Other Side of The Wall | I’m very grateful to Penguin as well for inviting me to be a part of the blog tour for this one! This was an excellent middle-grade, that felt slightly creepy at times, held the merry themes of Christmas at others, and was just all-around entertaining.

library

My library hold FINALLY came in so guess who’s ready to partake in all the Slytherin goodness??? Actually I’m kinda scared because this is very hyped but…witches. I like witches.

This is a book about the Enneagram (a personality test in case you didn’t know!) and it goes into each type. It’s been interesting to learn about each type’s weaknesses, strengths, and how they play off of each other. I’d highly recommend giving it a try if you’re curious about it!

And that’s it! A super short haul, I know. But hey, at least I did one! Tell me: what did you haul this month? Which book are you most excited to read?

  1. I love personality tests. I think they’re fascinating! I haven’t read much about the Enneagram though, so I’ll keep an eye out for The Road Back to You. I loved doing the Myers Briggs test though! Jen

  2. Im thinking of doing a bookhaul post sometime but I’m kind of worried of how long it’ll be if I do it for the whole year. I really hope you enjoy Serpent & Dove, I can’t wait to read that one!! I’m trying to get a few recent releases out of the library atm too. Although they don’t have that one and it’s one of my most anticipated books of the year so I’ll probably treat myself to it once I’ve caught up on my reading a little bit.

      1. Yes that’s a good idea (: besides ebooks, which I tend to get on and off throughout the year, I think most of my buys fall into three categories.
Thank you ❤️ I’m sure I will. I just really want to finish my library books and read a few others that I got recently first. I’ll probably get it for myself as a Christmas or New Year treat ☺️
