Tag Tuesday: Top 5 Books On My Current TBR!

Hi friends! I’m super excited to be participating in Top 5 Tuesday again this week, which is hosted by the amazing Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm! Today’s topic can basically be translated as:

library books that have been sitting on my floor for forever that I need to read!

Behold, my most recent addition to the TBR Tower That Never Ends!

I’m so excited for this Slytherin book. I’ve already talked about it endlessly so y’all probably know everything about this. It better live up to the hype because I want witches and enemies-to-lovers and I want it now*.

*am i an actual five year old? you’d better believe it

Also sitting on my floor right now is this gorgeous green gem of a book! It sounds right up my alley, with Paris and a crazy diverse cast of characters and puzzles that I won’t understand but the characters will solve thirty seconds before the deadline is due. I need to get on it!

I keep saying that I need to read this but I don’t? What’s up with that logic, brain? I really want to get this read because The Toll comes out this month and I’m not ready!

I’m in the middle of this, and I’m enjoying it so much! It’s absolutely bursting with Japanese culture, and it plays out like an anime so much in my mind. I’m hoping to finish this soon and get my review up, since this releases in January.

I’m still staring in awe at the gorgeousness of this cover. UNDERRATED COVER OF 2019. I’ve been listening to the actual story for quite a while, which is my own fault. I want to get this done soon before I totally forget every action.

So that’s it! I have SO MANY books that I want to read soon, and writing this post is making me feel super guilty. Tell me: what books do YOU want to read soon?

  1. I want to read way too many books atm. I’m concentrating on library ones atm, so I can return them, and then I have a few recent purchases to read which I’m super excited for. I still need to get Serpent & Dove sometime though as it sounds amazing. And I loved Stepsister. Unless I’m misremembering my cover didn’t have the blood though 🤔

      1. Thank you (: Good luck with yours too (: I guess so, I don’t understand why though; I think the blood makes it stand out more by adding that splash of colour. But oh well.

  2. I’m excited for Serpent and Dove as well. I mean enemies to lovers, c’mon how can I resist?!?!!
And the gilded wolves is one I am so excited for and the green cover is sublime!!! 😍
Again I loved Stepsister but you are right that this cover is amazing because it represents so much and I loved that there is blood in the shoe (that’s sentence really needs context or else it sounds concerning 😂)!!

  3. It looks like you have some pretty amazing books to look forward to! The Gilded Wolves and Thunder Head are also on my TBR but I’m scared of reading Thunder Head because me reading Scythe was like three years ago and I’m super afraid of not remembering half of what happened and how the characters developed haha!
Happy reading and have a great November!
