Tag Tuesday: Top 5 Magical Creatures!!

Hi friends! I’m finally (finally) getting back into blogging. I absolutely adore Top 5 Tuesday (hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm) and I’m excited to jump back in today!

so hopefully I actually remember some magical creatures.

Douglass the Duck is…somewhat magical. Right??? Anyways, Douglass is super loveable and idk if he counts but HE NEEDS APPRECIATION OKAY.

Blackjack is my childhood horse hero. Come on, his love of donuts is actually me. He’s always supporting Percy and is always there when he needs him and never gets the time he deserves in Heroes of Olympus so I’m salty like seawater.

The talking skull counts too right*. He’s super snarky, is only occasionally helpful, and is always telling Lucy the best ways to kill people. I want a best friend like that.

*i really hope these count or else I’m really cheating

I could probably make a whole post on the magical creatures in this series but for now I’m going to go with house elves because Dobby. But really, I’d love to learn more about house elves! Where did they come from? Did they have their own sub-cultures??? IS THERE A SIGNATURE HOUSE-ELF FOOD I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS.

Ronan’s bird whose name I can’t quite remember. Crankshaw??? Rickshaw??? SHAW?!?! Someone please comment the name down below and educate my dumb brain. The bird is so violently adorable and brings out Ronan’s soft side and AGH. I LOVE THIS BIRD.

So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed, and tell me: what are your favorite magical creatures???

  2. Ooh, it’s been so long since I heard Blackjack’s name! He was super cute and funny if I remember right. And yesss, the talking skull was rather hilarious; he reminds me of Bartimaeus from the author’s first trilogy, so he definitely was a fave of mine too.

Fab choices! Of course all these picks count; you were not cheating at all. 😉
