Bookish A-Z Tag!

Hi friends! I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by the lovely ladies at Fiction No Chaser  and I’m so excited to do this!! LET’S GO.

Author You’ve Read The Most Books From???

Not counting Nancy Drew or the Boxcar Children, I choose Erin Hunter! I’ve read roughly…uh…40 books by her? There was this series about cats and IT WAS GREAT DON’T JUDGE ME. The drama was real.

Best Sequel Ever?

Look, I flipping loved Cinder but Scarlet jumped that ball game and hit it out of the park*. Action and romance and Thorne = one of the best sequels ever.

*Words are not my first language, I’m sorry

Currently Reading?

A lot of books but mainly:

Drink of Choice While Reading?

Water! Tea! Hot Cocoa*!

*okay but seriously why is there an A at the end if it’s pronounced the same

E-Reader or Physical Book?

I personally prefer physical but I can work with an e-book.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High  School?

Probably Jem Carstairs or Will Herondale ONLY because I gravitate towards the book nerds and the shy ones. Because that’s me.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

The Cruel Prince! One of the reasons I read it so late was because I had zero interest in it. But then I randomly, out-of-the-blue decided to read it and no regrets.

Hidden Gem Book:

The Cure For Dreaming by Cat Winters is AMAZING. The feminism, the characters, the historical bits are everything.

Important Moment In Your Reading Life?

The moment I picked up Percy Jackson for the first time. As an eight year old who wasn’t allowed to read Harry Potter yet, it was an eye-opening experience that introduced me to the love of my life: fantasy*.

*yeah Percy’s okay too

Just Finished:

I just finished the TMI graphic novel as of typing this post up and I LOVED IT??? I know nothing about graphic novels* but this one was amazing.

*why do you guys read my posts

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read?

I’d like to say I read every kind of book but let’s be real: romance is NOT my thing. I just can’t read them.

Longest Book You’ve Read?

Honestly? Probably Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because UMBRIDGE IS FAT*.

*never miss an opportunity to hate on Umbridge…and I only mean fat in a derogating term when it comes to her does that make sense???

Major Book Hangover Because Of:

I don’t really get book hangovers but PROBABLY Renegades by Marissa Meyer because I DIED for my ship!

Number of Bookcases You Own?

With just my books? One. All others? About 5.

One Book You’ve Read Multiple Times?

The Warriors series by Erin Hunter! Mainly the Omen of the Stars arc because I can’t remember the name of one book in particular😂

Preferred Place to To Read?

My bed because blankets. You can’t beat that.

Quote That Inspires You/Gives You All the Feels From A Book You’ve Read:

Literally anything from the Infernal Devices but on a different note:

“Sometimes a dream is enough.”

Reading Regret:

Um…well…probably The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Hellig? Long and boring is NOT my kinda book.

Series You Started and Need To Finish:

Just about a million. But mainly the Vampire Academy series because I’ve heard it gets good?  And I’m low-key hoping this isn’t the same as when people told me Graceling was good. Haha…no.

Three of You All-Time Favorite Books???

WHAAAAT. ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME ANXIETY??? Okay then Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Hollow Boy by Jonathan Stroud, and Renegades by Marissa Meyer. Different from what you expected huh*?

*well maybe not HP but let’s not count that

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Love triangles AS LONG as someone gets their act together and my ship sails. Ooh yes and family drama. But a very peculiar type of drama that I can’t explain.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All Others???

Yes I’m cheating but TWO OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE AUTHORS. How could I resist…?

Worst Bookish Habit:

Um…sometimes I lay the book open with the spine face-up. I think we’ve already established my monstrous tendencies.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer!

Your Latest Book Purchase:

Lady Midnight and Strange the Dreamer!

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up way too late):

I zoomed through this and didn’t look at the clock and then bam my half my life left me.

So that’s it! I tag  anyone who wants to do this! Catch ya later, au revoir!

      1. No, not at all…I want to set aside more time for these fun tag posts! I’ve been too busy working, reading, and homeschooling my son that I’ve slacked off on my posts! 💗
