Matching Disney Songs With Books!

Hi friends! One thing you should know about me: I AM OBSESSED WITH DISNEY. Name a movie, I’ve probably seen it. Seriously, every time I mention A Goofy Movie or The Lady And The Tramp 2 I get strange looks. Also when I sing along to nearly every song in every movie ever…I need help. Anyway, I’m just going to pick some popular Disney songs nad match them up with books!

I Won’t Say I’m In Love

The Selection series of course. I’m laughing but also shaking my head. Honestly America, IF YOU JUST MADE UP YOUR MIND! Okay I’m cool. It’s cool.

Part Of Your World

The Wicked Deep is my pick! I just read this book but this song describes Hazel Swan perfectly! Ugh, the sea, the longing, the romance – they’re so flipping similar.

You’re Welcome

Friends On The Other Side

The Ember Quartet! I don’t want to say too much because spoilers (poor River Song) but let’s just say that some paranormal crap goes down.

God Help The Outcasts

Six of Crows for sure. It’s not that the song necessarily describes the book but let’s be real, we all thought the lyrics at some point while reading this.

Little Wonders

The Sun Is Also A Star (and every single other favorite book of mine). I’m kinda tearing up just thinking about this movie, IT’S SO FREAKING GOOD. The lyrics resound so well with Natasha and Daniel from The Sun Is Also A Star…I just can’t even.

That’s it for this post! I probably could have kept going, and going, and going until the world crashed and burned around me but that’s fine. Tell me if you’d like a part 2 sometime, and what one of your favorite Disney movies are! Catch ya later, au revoir!
