I didn’t even realize this was going on but when I saw the post at Weird Zeal I knew that I had to participate! I missed Day One but I can’t wait for the rest of the days! So in addition to today’s post, I wanted to do this. I’m currently rereading the books so this anniversary is perfect! Just as a note: all of these books are favorites and 5/5 stars!
7. Chamber of Secrets
This may surprise a lot of people but Chamber of Secrets has never been highest on my list. It has some great moments but it just doesn’t possess the same magical feeling that the other books have.
6. Half Blood Prince
This is the one where everything got complicated. There was a bit too much history and not enough magic.
5. Sorcerer’s Stone
I just read this one and I realized that Harry doesn’t even get to Hogwarts until about a third of the way through the book! It’s also the shortest and we’re missing some beloved characters so that’s why the book that started it all is ranked fifth on the list!
4. Order Of The Phoenix
I really enjoyed this one, and Sirius and Harry’s interactions. This is also the first Harry Potter book I’ve ever cried in so yeah, happy memories!
3. Deathly Hallows
My hands froze while trying to write this, because wow. I sobbed reading this book but it’s the perfect example of a perfect conclusion novel.
2. Prisoner of Azkaban
Now this one was what convinced me that J.K. Rowling was a fantastic author. I mean, the plot twists were on point! So good.
1. Goblet of Fire
Now this is the book were things start getting dark, but that doesn’t prevent it from being hilarious and fun. The Triwizard Competition, the Yule Ball, the Quidditch World Cup-so many iconic events in one book! Ah…I love this series so freaking much.
So that’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed, and don’t worry I’ll be participating the rest of the week! Comment below your favorite Harry Potter book! Au revoir!
This is a great ranking!! Your top three are also some of my faves (though it’s so hard to choose since I love them all!)
